This week…
It’s hot. Really hot.
And Glastonbury has just finished.
So while I take time to write up my story about where the Lewis Carroll head from Sgt Pepper originated from, and where it ended up, I thought I’d share a brief snippet of another work in progress. I’m doing a talk for the Lewis Carroll Society of North America (LCSNA) in September, with the irrepressible Heather Simmons (http://aliceiseverywhere.com) and we’re planning a little “if you didn’t believe The Beatles are Alice-mad before, you will now” style video.

Today I just wanted to share this snippet from Paul’s 2004 (first) headline performance at Worthy Farm, which I had the pleasure of watching live. I’ve layered on some audio from one of Paul’s interviews with Paul Muldoon, editor of The Lyrics, that explains the Alice connection.
Just to make the point that proto-metal and Wonderland aren’t so far apart.
Enjoy!
